Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When a page is requested, Vercel automatically processes server log data on our behalf: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, volume of data transferred, referrer, and browser and operating system details. This data is technically required to deliver the site, keep it stable and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Any transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Images and media
Images and graphics on this website are delivered through the content delivery network of Sanity (Sanity AS, Oslo, Norway). When a page loads, your IP address is transmitted to that CDN, because it is technically required to send the image files to your browser. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in fast and reliable presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Fonts are served from our own server; there is no connection to Google Fonts or similar services.
Cookies and local storage
This website sets no cookies for analytics or advertising. Only two strictly functional items are used: a cookie named NEXT_LOCALE, which stores your chosen language for twelve months and is only set once you actively switch language; and an entry in your browser’s local storage (fwrd-theme) remembering whether you prefer the light or dark appearance. Both stay on your device, contain no identifier that identifies you, and are not transmitted to us or to third parties. As they serve only a function you asked for, no consent is required; you can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
Contacting us
When you submit the contact form, the details you enter (name, email address, subject and message) are transmitted to our server and delivered from there by email to info@fwrd.gg. We use Resend, Inc. (USA) as a processor to send it. Your IP address is processed briefly on submission to detect automated abuse and is not stored permanently. We process your details solely to answer your enquiry — to take steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of the consent you give via the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You are always free to email us directly at info@fwrd.gg instead.
Recipients and processors
Personal data is shared only with the service providers required to run this website: Vercel Inc. (hosting), Sanity AS (content and image delivery) and Resend, Inc. (delivering the emails sent through the contact form). Data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place with all of them. Beyond that, we disclose data only where legally obliged to.
Retention
Server log data is stored only briefly by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes. Email enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet statutory retention obligations, and are deleted afterwards.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information about the data we hold about you, and to its correction, erasure or restriction, to data portability, and to object to processing based on a legitimate interest. An informal message to info@fwrd.gg is enough.
Right to complain
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Luxembourg this is the Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD), 15, Boulevard du Jazz, L-4370 Belvaux, cnpd.lu.
